Meet Your Guide: Anna

In February 2019, a spontaneous comment ended my 13-year relationship, leaving me heartbroken and questioning everything.

At 40, I hit a crossroads. Tired of living in victim mode, I picked up a pen and started journalling. What began as messy and chaotic soon became my lifeline, helping me find clarity and joy in the smallest moments:a warm conversation, a perfect latte, a stunning sunset.

These moments became my anchors, and journalling became my lifeline. Writing gave me the resilience to rebuild my life. I’ve climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, hiked trails that nourished my soul, and transformed my business into one that aligns with my purpose. Most importantly, I’ve learned to set boundaries, embrace my worth, and live a life filled with joy and adventure.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, know this: change is possible. Journalling transformed my life, and it can transform yours too. Join my ‘Find Your Voice Again’ course today and take the first step toward reclaiming your calm, confidence, and joy.

Frequently Asked Questions

But I don’t have time – what will I need to find?

Each session takes just 15-20 minutes, and you’ll gain clarity and calm that saves you time in the long run.

I'm not a good writer. Does that matter?

Not at all! Journalling is for your eyes only. It's about exploration, not literary excellence. The techniques I share are specifically designed to help you bypass the inner critic.

What if I don’t know what to write?

Journalling isn’t about being a great writer,it’s about being honest with yourself. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

What if life gets in the way?

Life happens, and that’s okay. Journalling is here for you whenever you’re ready to return. Whether it’s a week, a month, or a year, the insights you gain will always be waiting for you. This is your journey, on your terms.

What if I can’t stay focused?

It’s completely normal for your mind to wander. Think of it as part of the process. When it happens, gently bring your focus back to the page. Some participants find it helpful to keep a‘ thought jotter’ nearby, a separate page where you can jot down fleeting ideas and return to them later. Remember, journalling isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress.

What do I need to get started?

All you need is a notebook and pen you love using. Many participants find that writing by hand helps them connect more deeply with their thoughts, but you can also use a computer or tablet if that feels right for you. The key is to choose tools that make you excited to sit down and write.

Will I have to share my writing?

Absolutely not. Your journal is your private space. The course is designed as a self-guided journey, though many participants choose to share insights (not their actual writing) with trusted friends.

Is this course a substitute for therapy?

While journalling has therapeutic benefits, this course is designed as an educational tool to help you explore self-awareness and personal growth. It’s not a substitute for therapy, but it can complement professional support by giving you a safe space to process your thoughts and emotions.

What if I’m already journalling and want more?

That’s fantastic! If you’re ready to take your practice to the next level, I offer a premium live Zoom course, ‘Journal to the Self.’ Over six weeks, we’ll explore advanced techniques in a supportive group setting. This is your chance to deepen your journalling journey and connect with others who share your passion. Click here to learn more and join the next cohort.

What if journalling brings up emotions I need to talk through?

Journalling is a powerful tool for self-discovery, and it’s natural for deep emotions to surface as you explore your thoughts and feelings. This is a sign that you’re connecting with what truly matters to you. If you find yourself feeling overwhelmed or uncovering emotions that feel too big to handle alone, that’s okay. It’s part of the process for many people. Take a pause, breathe, and know that reaching out to a qualified mental health professional is a sign of strength, not weakness. They can help you process these emotions and move forward with clarity and confidence. If you’re not sure where to start, consider reaching out to your GP, a local therapist, or a trusted mental health organisation. Many offer free consultations or resources to help you take the first step. Remember, this course is designed to help you build self-awareness and resilience through journalling. While it’s not a substitute for therapy, it can be a powerful complement to professional support, giving you tools to process your thoughts and emotions in a safe and structured way.
