Introduction
Writing with Purpose is a podcast where writers, journalling coaches, and outdoor enthusiasts share their transformational journeys and inspire listeners to embrace creativity, connection, and wellbeing. As a guest, you’ll have the opportunity to share your story with an engaged audience of avid readers, writers, and nature lovers who are seeking inspiration and practical tools for living a more fulfilling life.
The ’voice’ of the podcast emphasises warmth, authenticity, and connection. Episodes are a conversation between two people who love what they do and have a love for life – even though it may not have always been that way.

Podcast Audience
My audience includes avid readers, writers, and outdoor enthusiasts who value creativity, connection, and wellbeing. They’re navigating life transitions or seeking inspiration to create a more fulfilling, balanced
life through writing and nature.
Podcast Structure
Interviews follow a before-and-after narrative, allowing you to share your personal journey and inspire listeners with your transformation.
We’ll explore your earliest memories of writing, journalling, or nature connection, and what brings you joy. At the end, I’ll invite you to share a key takeaway or piece of advice for our listeners. Sample questions will be provided in advance, and I’m happy to adapt them to suit your preferences. Please inform me if there are any topics you would prefer to avoid.
Podcast Recording
Episodes are recorded on Zoom and edited on Riverside to ensure high-quality audio and video. You will receive a calendar invite with full details. I allow 60-90 minutes for the session with the podcast recording a maximum of 60 minutes. Please let me know if you have time limits on the day.
To make the recording process as smooth as possible, I recommend using an external microphone and headphones to block out background noise.
Please also mute or turn off notifications to avoid disruptions. If you’d prefer not to have the video published on YouTube, just let me know – I want you to feel comfortable and at ease during our conversation.
Before the Episode Release
A publish date will be agreed at the time of recording.
To help me promote your episode and showcase your work, please share a glimpse of your story by providing your bio, a favourite photo, and any links
you’d like to include so I can showcase your work in the best possible light.
Podcast Conversation
Together, we’ll create a heartfelt conversation that not only celebrates your journey but also inspires our listeners to embrace their own creativity and connection. Guided by a before and-after narrative, we’ll start by exploring your earliest memories and the moments that sparked change, then dive into the transformations that followed. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to share insights, tips, and what brings you joy in life. At the end, I’ll invite you to share a key takeaway or piece of advice for our listeners.
There’s no pressure to prepare anything specific, just bring your passion and authenticity, and let’s create a conversation that inspires.
Podcast Promotion
Once your episode is ready, you’ll receive a copy of the show notes and promotional assets to review. I’d be so grateful if you could help spread the word by sharing the episode on your platforms with your audience. Feel free to adapt any of the content I provide to suit your style – I want this to be a win win for both of us.
Many guests have gone on to collaborate with me on workshops,
events, or other creative projects. It would be great to see how we can
leverage this podcast conversation further – let’s be open to opportunities.
I’m committed to supporting guests beyond the episode. Let me know how I can help amplify your message or connect you with others in our network.
Additional information – Creativity Card or Prompt
At the end of the recording, I like to give guests the opportunity to pull a creativity card or inspirational prompt for a short discussion. This is a fun way to explore new ideas and create additional content for social media and YouTube. It only takes about five minutes, but it’s completely optional, just let me know if you’d prefer not to participate.
